MBA Mission
Our mission is to provide both financial and moral support to the K-5 elementary schools and Glen Crest music programs. Our various fundraising activities throughout the year provide:

Primary source of funding of new music and materials at the K-5* AND middle school levels

Equipment such as xylophones, drums, mallets, sheet music, and more for all students K - 5* and middle school band, chorus, and orchestra students

Accompanists for music concerts (K - 5th* and middle school programs)

Scholarships for instrument rental

Transportation costs and fees for competitions

Replacing or repairing instruments in all music classrooms

*Special note: MBA supports ALL children at the elementary level through weekly music classes, regardless of if they are in band/orchestra/chorus.

Music Boosters supports students and classrooms at the elementary AND middle school level throughout ALL D89 (K-5 elementary music classes and middle school chorus, band and orchestra students).
The goal of the MBA is to assist and support the music teachers/staff to maintain a music program that is educational, enjoyable, and rewarding for all our music students.
In addition to supporting and supplementing the music programs throughout D89, MBA works to promote music throughout our community, classrooms and schools.

What does Music Boosters Fund?
Music Boosters was established to help support the needs of the D89 Music Departments and provide financial assistance.
Music Boosters raise money by sponsoring various drives and hosting events/fundraisers throughout the school year.
